Abraham Garcia Sr: A Life Full of Love and Legacy Abraham Garcia Sr, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at home on September 5, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on March 18, 1937, in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, Abraham’s journey through life was marked by devotion to his family, unwavering faith, and a warm-hearted spirit that touched all who knew him. The beloved son of Emiliano García and Epifanía Irizarry, Abraham was raised with strong family values alongside his siblings. Throughout his life, he remained deeply connected to his roots, carrying the love and lessons of his parents and predeceased siblings, Emiliano García Jr and Francisco Garcia. In December 1966, Abraham married the love of his life, Gloria, and together they built a beautiful life over 60 years of a happy marriage. Their union was blessed with three children: Maria Del Carmen Garcia, Daisy Garcia who is married to Felix Hernandez, and Abraham Garcia Jr who is married to Natalie. Abraham's legacy continues through his grandchildren, Maricarmen, Gloremily, Tony, Daniel, Lysette, and Justin, as well as 13 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren, with another on the way, each carrying forward his spirit and values. Abraham was a man of integrity and kindness, qualities that he passed down to his children and grandchildren. His family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. A devoted husband and father, he provided a strong foundation of love and support, always putting others before himself. In addition to his immediate family, Abraham is survived by his loving siblings Samuel Garcia, Elliott Garcia, Uriel Garcia, Daniel Garcia who is married to Idalith, Israel Garcia who is married to Emma, and Nicy Vega who is married to Edgar. The bonds he shared with his siblings were a testament to the importance of family and unity, values he held dear throughout his life. Abraham's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and faith. His gentle spirit and generous heart enriched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. While he will be deeply missed, his legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.
