With heavy hearts and profound gratitude, we announce the passing of Abnar Juan Perlata, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on June 11, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on August 5, 1945, in the vibrant city of Santo Domingo, Abnar lived a life marked by dedication, love, and service to his family and community.
Abnar was a man of great integrity and unwavering commitment, who spent much of his life working in the construction industry in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Through his tireless efforts and skilled hands, he helped build homes, buildings, and projects that stand as a testament to his hard work and dedication. His colleagues respected and admired him for his honesty, perseverance, and the pride he took in his work. For Abnar, work was not merely a job but a means to provide comfort and opportunities for his beloved family.
Outside of his professional life, Abnar found immense joy in the world of baseball. He was an ardent fan who relished watching games, discussing his favorite teams and players, and sharing these moments of excitement and camaraderie with his family and friends. Baseball was more than a sport to him; it was a source of joy, unity, and pride.
Abnar's love for his family was the cornerstone of his life. He cherished family gatherings, where he would listen to music, share stories, and create memories with those he held dear. His presence illuminated every occasion with warmth, and his smile, humor, and devotion to his family left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
He will be remembered for his noble spirit, generosity, and the passion with which he embraced every moment of his life. Abnar's legacy of love, hard work, and dedication will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A service to honor and celebrate Abnar's life will be held on June 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Blandino Columbarios, located at Av. Gregorio Luperón #69, Santo Domingo. We invite all who knew and loved him to join us in remembering a life well-lived and cherished.
