Born on July 9, 1987, in Kansas City, Missouri, Abigail's life, though tragically cut short, was one filled with love, creativity, and a passion for inspiring others.
Abigail, affectionately known as Abby, was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and sister. She was predeceased by her cherished mother, Sarah Burner, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms into the afterlife. Abby's departure leaves an indelible void in the lives of those who loved her deeply.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Joshua Mattarnio Everett, with whom she shared a beautiful partnership. Together, they had the joy of raising their precious daughters, Faith Rose Everett, aged six, and Capri Everett, aged two. Abby was also the mother to the late Elizabeth and Marie Albert, who passed away one year prior, on May 5, 2019. Her brother, Eric Burner, remains to cherish her memory and uphold her legacy of kindness and compassion.
Abigail's career as a model was not just a profession but a testament to her grace and dedication. She was a source of inspiration to many, known for her elegance and the ability to touch lives with her radiant presence. Abby's beauty was not just skin deep; she possessed a genuine warmth and generosity that endeared her to friends and colleagues alike.
Her marriage to Joshua was celebrated at the Arch Street Cathedral Church in Boston, where they began their journey together, surrounded by family and friends. Their love story was one of mutual respect, laughter, and shared dreams.
A service to honor and celebrate Abigail's life was held on May 15, 2020, at the Beechwood Home for Funerals in Revere, Massachusetts. Her friends and family gathered to remember her vibrant spirit and the love she bestowed upon all who knew her.
In this time of sorrow, we remember Abigail M. Burner not for the tragic circumstances of her passing but for the light she brought into the world. Her legacy will be carried forward by her family and all those she inspired along her journey. She will be remembered for her strength, her grace, and her unwavering love for her daughters.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Abigail's name to a charity supporting mental health awareness, in hopes of preventing future tragedies and honoring her memory in a meaningful way.
