November 26, 2003 — March 13, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Abigail Gray, who left this world on March 13, 2026, at the tender age of 22. Born on November 26, 2003, in the picturesque town of Petoskey, MI, Abigail brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. Her life, though short, was filled with love, humor, and an indomitable spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Abigail was the beloved daughter of Shannon Avery and John Gehres. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she was deeply cherished by her husband of two years, Kanen Gray. Their love story began on April 22, 2019, and they celebrated their union on the same date five years later, surrounded by loved ones. Together, they built a life centered around their three adored pets, Rocco, Keanu, and Ruby, whom she fondly referred to as her "fuzzy children." Abigail was a dedicated professional, working as an Assistant Manager at 4Front Credit Union for nearly two years. Her colleagues admired her for her uncanny ability to fix problems simply with her presence, and her infectious laughter made the workplace a brighter place. She was known for her quick wit and dark humor, often walking the fine line between hilarity and inappropriateness, much to the amusement of her friends and the occasional consternation of HR. In her personal life, Abigail embraced her role as an "avid couch potato" and self-proclaimed "Kanen addict." While she might not have had a long list of hobbies, her passion for life and her unique perspective on the world made her an unforgettable presence. Her siblings, Jordan Pajor (Thomas), Adam Avery, and Madison Gehres, will forever remember her as a loving sister who brought joy and laughter into their lives. Abigail's passing leaves a void that will never be filled, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her family has chosen to celebrate her life in a private ceremony, honoring the profound impact she had on their lives. In a special message from her family, they expressed their love and enduring connection to Abigail: "Just like microplastics, she will be forever in our hearts... and balls." As we bid farewell to Abigail Gray, let us remember her for the laughter she shared, the love she gave, and the indelible mark she left on all of us. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will be eternally missed.
