He is survived by his beloved wife, Norma Garcia, and their three wonderful children, Sarahi (17), Valeria (15), and Andres (9). To them, he was not just a husband and father but a guiding light, a source of endless love, and a steadfast pillar of support. Abelardo's friends remember him as a man who listened without judgment, a true confidant who enriched their lives with his wisdom and kindness. His legacy is one of enduring friendship and unwavering faith, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him. A service to honor Abelardo's life will be held on March 23, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Eastgate Funeral Home, located at 12973 LBJ FWY, Garland, TX. It will be a time to reflect on the beautiful life he led and to draw comfort from the shared memories of a man who lived with grace and humility. In this time of sorrow, the family finds solace in the words of Psalm 121: “I will lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Abelardo's faith was his anchor, and it is this faith that now sustains his family.
