Aaron Gleim
April 13, 1969 — October 13, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aaron Gleim, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who departed this world on October 13, 2026, after a short illness. Aaron's journey began on April 13, 1969, in Portsmouth, Ohio, where he was born to his loving parents, Neil L. Gleim, Sr. and Phyliss J. (Sweeney) Gleim.
Aaron was a cherished son who brought joy and laughter to those around him. He was predeceased by his dear grandparents, Forrest and Mary Gleim, and Donald and Margaret Sweeney, whose memory he always held close to his heart. He is survived by his siblings, Jamie (Gleim) Gilliland, Andrew Gleim, Candel Gleim, and Neil L. Gleim Jr., as well as a large extended family of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will forever remember his warmth and kindness.
A proud graduate of Minford High School's class of 1987, Aaron went on to further his education at Shawnee State University. In his early adult years, Aaron found joy in connecting with people as a waiter and bartender. His career later led him to positions at Bellisio Foods in Jackson, Ohio, and General Mills in Wellston, Ohio, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.
Aaron's passions were as varied as they were profound. He was an avid amateur genealogist, embarking on countless journeys into the past to uncover the stories of those who came before him. His love for the outdoors was evident in his enjoyment of fishing and riding his Harley Davidson, while his adventurous spirit often led him on travels that left him with cherished memories.
In accordance with Aaron's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor his life. The family kindly suggests that those who wish to commemorate Aaron's life do so by making a donation to a charity of their choice, a gesture that reflects Aaron's generous and compassionate nature.
Though Aaron's time with us was far too brief, his legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
In lieu of flowers, the family of Aaron Gleim welcomes donations to a charity, nonprofit, church, or organization of your choosing.
