March 27, 1987 — March 29, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Aaime Sue Marcet, a cherished soul who left this world peacefully in her sleep on March 29, 2026, just two days after celebrating her 39th birthday. Born on March 27, 1987, in Seekonk, Massachusetts, Aaime's life was a testament to love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. Aaime was the beloved wife of Joseph M. Marcet, with whom she shared a beautiful journey of six years in marriage, and a proud mother to their son, Joshua M. Marcet, both of Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she nurtured them with warmth and kindness. Aaime's educational achievements were many. A graduate of Bellingham High, she pursued her passion for finance and technology, earning an Associate Degree in Finance & Financial Management from Johnson & Wales in 2009. Her thirst for knowledge continued with a Bachelor's degree in Operations Technology, with a minor in Information Technology, in 2014. Her career at Kidde Fenwal spanned two decades, where she excelled as an Enterprise Data Administrator, JDE Analyst, System Design and Security expert, and most recently as the planner for the Suppression team. Aaime's colleagues will remember her as a dedicated professional with an exceptional work ethic and an infectious enthusiasm for her field. Family was at the heart of Aaime's world. She was the dear daughter of Annette E. Leonard of Bellingham, Massachusetts, and the cherished sister of Sean M. O'Brien and his wife, Emily (Crowe) Marcet. Her nephews, Lucas J. O'Brien and Connor R. O'Brien, held a special place in her heart. Aaime's legacy of love extends to her grandmother, Joann L. Leonard of Berwick, Maine, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever hold her memory dear. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Deborah (Marcet) Lussier, and her husband, Ken Lussier, of Glendale, Rhode Island; brother-in-law, Jeffrey M. Marcet, and his wife, Anna Marcet, and their children, Tyler and Emily Marcet, of Bellingham, Massachusetts; and her grandmother, known affectionately as Meme, of Millville, Massachusetts. Aaime's life was enriched by the steadfast friendships she cultivated over the years. Her best friends, Julie A. (Schiavone) Lee and her husband, John Lee, along with their sons Emmet and Bennet Lee of Blackstone, Massachusetts, shared countless cherished memories with her. Holly Landry and her husband, Manny Braza, and their four children, Evienne, Theodore, Rosabelle, and Elijah of Chepachet, Rhode Island, were also an integral part of her life. Preceding her in death were her beloved Aunt Holly A. Leonard, her father-in-law Michael A. Marcet, and her grandparents, Doris (Boulanger) Marcet and Richard B. Leonard, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms in the afterlife. Aaime had a zest for life that was unparalleled. She found joy in simple pleasures like collecting beach glass, savoring fresh seafood, and quilting. Aaime was an avid cat lover, sharing her home with her feline companions, Punkin and Smokey, and always open to adopting more throughout the years. Her love for the beach, flowers, and spending quality time with friends and family were the threads that wove the fabric of her life. Aaime's legacy will be carried forward by those who knew her as a beacon of love, compassion, and unwavering strength. A celebration of Aaime's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends can gather to honor her memory and the indelible mark she left on their hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a local animal shelter in honor of Aaime's deep love for animals. Though our hearts are heavy, Aaime's spirit will forever illuminate our lives. Rest in peace, dear Aaime, knowing you were deeply loved and will be missed beyond measure.
